Off the beaten track

A very small and remote car park nestled in the heart of Dunning Glen. Only a short drive from the central belt, you’ll be surprised by how remote it feels. Borders the edge of Littlerig Forest.

Activities

From the car park there are long distance walks on remote open hill paths to the town of Auchterarder. Or you can explore the forest roads of Littlerig Forest. A short drive away along the A823 in Glen Devon there are a number of Woodland Trust sites offering varied and interesting waymarked trails at the foot of the Ochil Hills.

Fishing on local reservoirs available nearby by permit from Glen Sherup Fishery.

The nearest town is Dunning, 4.5 miles away, which has a pub and local convenience store. 10 miles away is the town of Auchterarder with its famous Gleneagles hotel and golf course, public toilets, pubs, cafes and takeaways.
