Kinnoull Hill, Deuchny Hill, Binn Hill and Paddockmuir Woodlands are located to the east of Perth overlooking the River Tay. Together they are combined into one Forest Design Plan, called ‘Kinnoull Hill and Paddockmuir’.

They are well-established woodlands, largely of mixed conifers, with broadleaves dominating on the Kinnoull Crags and at Paddockmuir. The larger woods have been extensively managed under a continuous cover system, with many areas of open grown Scots pine along side mixed conifer planting and more recently planted spruce.
